advanced team development

Since 2009, Open Kitchen has specialized in cooking classes that have offered countless organizations the opportunity to experience a new way of building their teams and organizations.  Now, we are taking it to the next level.

Open Kitchen is pleased to offer, through its partnership with Cheshire Consulting Group, LLC, a series of advanced training events based upon the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®), one of the most widely used personality assessment tools.  With MBTI-based Team Building Training at Open Kitchen, organizations can improve communications, problem solving, and conflict management, build effective work teams, enhance management and leadership skills, and strengthen their organizational capabilities within Open Kitchen’s professional kitchen setting.

From the creative minds of Hue-Chan Karels (owner of Open Kitchen) and Laurie Reuben (owner of Cheshire Consulting Group), these advanced training events allow corporations to experience both an introduction to MBTI as well as a hands-on application of the varied personality preferences on their teams.  With two different training modules, each four-hour session requires a minimum of 10 participants.  Advanced training events at Open Kitchen are led by a diverse staff of certified MBTI facilitators, professional chefs, and service staff.
