It is with heavy hearts that I have come to the decision to close Open Kitchen. As of today, June 30, 2016, Open Kitchen, LLC will no longer be in operation. As some of you may know, my husband, John, and I relocated to New Mexico in 2014. Since that time we have struggled to oversee the Open Kitchen operation remotely. While our Open Kitchen team has done an excellent job in keeping our business going and maintaining a truly remarkable connection with all of our guests, running a business long distance does not work. As much as we truly believe in what Open Kitchen stands for and the value it provides the community, we must do what we know is right and close Open Kitchen.
I want you to know how much I appreciate all the support you have given us over the years. From the glorious bistro days to our current private and public events, we have loved sharing every culinary experience with you! Building a culinary community full of wine and food lovers who share in our passions has been amazing. We are grateful and privileged to not only call you all friends, but family. Words cannot express how sad we are to let this go, but again, thank you for all the support and love you’ve shown us!
